As of August first 2018, Amy has expanded to a second day--Thursday mornings with 15 kids, all about the same age of 5-6. These were drawn from the worst of the slums, an area so bad that even her teachers were concerned about recruiting children from there. So far all has gone well and the teachers have affectionately nicknamed them “Little Alturas.” If this continues on track, she plans on adding another 15 ages 5—6 on Jan. 2019 providing finances will permit.
As these children progress, she would like to add more grade classes once finances and logistics permit.
