Today was our very awaited end of year party. Many of our kids’ parents will not be able to celebrate Christmas with gifts and food. Thus, it makes us happy to be able to give them gifts and the food that they like so much. All of this is thanks to our sponsors that kindly sacrificed a little more money so that the kids could have a different Christmas. Something that we do that is always important is the reading of God’s Word, and afterward, Teacher Damaris, told us about the true meaning of Christmas that is having Jesus in our hearts.
Today, in the Bible lesson, we learned about Lazarus, jesús good friend, and how, at times, God has control of everything, although every thing looks like the opposite. We reviewed words that refer to the body (like “arm”) in English with a fun game that Teacher Damaris brought.
In addition, we wrote letters to our sponsors to tell them which gift that we wanted to receive at Christmas.
Today, we did a lot of exercise, but in a very fun way- with balloons. We flexed and stretched out our muscles, had races, and everybody, even the teachers, participated. In the Bible lesson, we learned about Esther’s life, and how obedience to God made her become a great queen.
In English, we continue with opposites. We had a small quiz.
